Craft Markets

Stroll through the craft markets in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril for an array of hand-crafted souvenirs and local favorites.  Hand woven hats and bags, decorated clothing, jewelry, wood carvings, and local food and spices are just a few of the many items available.  Visit the Old Fort Craft Park on Gloucester Avenue or the Crafts Market near Harbour Street in downtown Montego Bay.  Negotiating for the best price is expected.

Duty-Free Shopping

Find a wide selection of brand name items, such as jewelry, watches, perfumes, crystal, figurines and more.  Shop in Montego Bay’s duty free section (20 minutes from Silent Waters Villa) or Freeport (where the cruise ships dock – 15 minutes from Silent Waters Villa).  Also, shop for duty free items at Taj Mahal, located in the Half Moon Shopping Village, and at the Holiday Inn Shopping Arcade both within 30 minutes of Silent Waters Villa.

Gallery of West Indian Art
