Silent Waters Villa is located in Great River Private subdivision, which is a gated community with 24/7 security, on the North Coast Highway approximately 4.6 miles west of Montego Bay, Jamaica. For those wishing to fly by helicopter to Silent Waters Villa, the helipad at the top of the villa property is located at Latitude 18.4401, Longitude -77.9842 (Lat - 18 degrees, 26.4 minutes North and Long - 77 degrees, 59.1 minutes West).

Jamaica is the largest English-speaking island in the Caribbean and the third largest in the region.  The island is 146 miles long with widths varying between 22 and 51 miles (35 and 82 km) and the total land area is 4442 square miles (10991 sq. km).  The capital is Kingston located in the southeastern part of the island; and other major towns include Montego Bay on the northwestern coast, Negril on the northwestern coast and Ocho Rios on the north central coast.  Jamaica is mostly mountains with the highest elevation being 2,256m at the Blue Mountain Peak in the southeast near Kingston.  The island has a narrow, discontinuous coastal plain and is covered with luscious world class sandy beaches.  The general climate is tropical; hot and with higher humidity primarily during the months of June through September and with an average year around temperature of 82 degrees F.  Officially, the hurricane season is July 1st through November 30th with the peaks being during 2nd half of August and 2nd half of September.
